Doorways is a nonprofit organization with services for toughies of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as youth and families suffering homelessness. Survivors and people experiencing homelessness benefit from doorways throughout their life, from refuge to independence. The services are supportive housing, psychological counseling events, financial support, and employment counseling. Interfaith Works was established in 1972. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a non-sectarian interfaith association of more than 165 affiliated churchgoers of different faiths working together to meet the needs of the poor and homeless in Montgomery County, Maryland. Their mission is to effort together with various communities to serve fellow citizens in need and campaigner for an end to poverty in Montgomery County.
